A Piece of Visual Culture...

This is just something I found on the internet while looking for something interesting to post. I like the way it almost resemble a video-game - like an 8-bit one- but in an enhanced, more rendered style. It reminds me of video-games such as The Legend of Zelda. I don't believe it is actually concept art, but a full complete piece, it just reminded me of that. A lot of background artists will often splice together real world images of scenery, and then paint over that. I don't know for sure if thats what the artist did, but its possible. He probably worked in a program like photoshop or something like that as well. Overall I just think this artwork is neat, and I appreciate the hard work that went into it.
