Art 214- Wallpaper Pattern Final Piece

This is my final wallpaper pattern. I was heavily inspired by the artist Nate Williams, who utilizes a variety of simple shapes and colors into his work. I wanted to create a similar style in my work while also incorporating aspects of my own style into it as well. I like creating abstract pieces that utilize facial features in my work, so thats what I did. there's a lot of simple color blocking and asymmetry going to in the piece as well. It's intentionally simple in design, and I wanted it to have an almost dated feel to it, like something out of the 60's.
