Art 214 WIP - Wallpaper Project

Here is my WIP for the wallpaper assignment. I think I am going to edit it to make it more of a repeating pattern than it is now. I am still going to keep the general vibe and style of the artwork, I will just be moving some things around. I was heavily inspired by the artist Nate Williams when creating this design. I enjoyed his used of geometric shapes and lines as well as his use of color. When I processed this photo some things changed a bit that I don’t like. I would like the parts where it overlaps to stand out more. I believe this was just and error when I merged layers. This will not be and issue when I recreate it in Illustrator (I used Procreate for the WIP). Overall I do really like the vibe and style I am going for, there are just some minor kinks that will need to be worked out.
